Whether you’re a college student or a working professional, small group is a great place to connect to people from similar walks of life and build meaningful relationships that will last for years to come.
What Are Small Groups For?
Experience a closer-knit community life at Covenant Life Church and get plugged into a small group family! Our small groups meet weekly to study God’s Word, build healthy biblical relationships, and spur one another on to seek Christ. Small groups are designed to explore the implications of the Gospel for all of life to get a clearer view of Jesus and ourselves. It’s a great way to experience the more personal side of CLC. Some of the deepest friendships at our church are formed through small groups. You are welcome to join at any time—it’s never too late to sign up!
What To Expect
Small groups consist of 8 or more people who share life and encourage each other to become more like Jesus. Small groups meet either on the University of Minnesota campus or at a nearby location in an apartment or campus building. Small groups meet once a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at 7 PM to discuss the passage of the previous Sunday’s sermon, eat delicious snacks, sing praise songs, and just be silly together. Other bonding events (i.e. bowling, laser tag, eating out) and missional activities (i.e. Feed My Starving Children, campus outreach, cooking) occur periodically throughout the year.
